The simple answer is No! The reason being just like a kettle, there are preventative measures that can treat the water and prevent the formation of limescale. If you took your kettle back to the store and said it broke due to limescale, this is not the store's fault, nor the manufacturers. We suggest purchasing an inline water softener to combat the issue.
