What preparations should I make for my new shower?
We strongly advise waiting until your product arrives to begin making preparations. We advise this because you can’t account for accidental damage or delivery damage. If you have removed your shower prior to your new shower arriving and a component turns up damaged, you are going to be in a tricky situation. Insignia will, of course, do everything they can to get a replacement item to you as quickly as possible but it isn’t going to be the same day delivery.
The instructions are available on our website for your perusal prior to delivery and should be read and passed across to the installer so they can know what is required during the install.
Hot and cold braided hoses are not supplied and will be required which can be purchased on the Insignia website. Also a silicone sealant for the vertical joints and some Plumbers Mait for the waste. Your installer should have all this to hand, or if you are undertaking the install yourself then source these products from a local DIY merchant.
You will also need certain tools such as a drill, screwdriver, and a few other items. These are referenced items you need in the first few pages of the instructions so once again, consult your instructions before the arrival of your shower so you know exactly what you need.
